1. Earth is divided into seven main pieces of Land, called continents. Most continents are split into countries. australia is the only continent that is also a country.


2. North america is home to the united States and 22 other countries. Temperatures on this continent can range from -80°F to 134°F!


3. south america includes the world’s largest tropical rainforest, the amazon. Amazing animals like Monkeys and toucans live there.

4. The coldest continent is antarctica. Plenty of penguins live there. The hottest continent is africa. penguins live on this continent too!


5. the largest continent is asia. more than half of the human population calls this continent home.


6. europe is said to be named after a princess from Greek mythology named europa. The continent is home to the smallest country in the world.
